As a market research analyst for this high tech irrigation company, you will be responsible for Market Research for the Sales and Marketing dept.; must be proficient in desktop research, internet research; Photoshop, Frontpage, Acrobat, Excel, Powerpoint, Word. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business. Must do new product research, presentations, come up with new ideas, and products.
. Coordinate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of ongoing marketing plan & budget.
. Develop and coordinate in conducting market surveys to analyze customer purchasing patterns, preferences, brand image, and other related areas.
. Research market studies and conduct feasibility studies to determine market demand for future new product development, services and improvements to existing products.
. Gather, analyze and compare competitor data and pricing.
. Prepare with the annual product and customer audit.
. Assist in the development and implementation of all sales promotions.
. Maintain product literature and assist with all advertising in trade publications.
. Maintain company web site.
. Assist in the organization and execution of all trade shows.
. Assist management with the product catalog.
. Assist in the preparation of reports, including charts and graphs, for presentation to the Directors.
. Be prepared to travel when necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS

. BA degree in Marketing.
. 3-5 years experience as a market research analyst.
. PC skills and demonstrated knowledge of technology.
. Have conversational Spanish skills.
