Our growth has created an immediate opportunity in our Cincinnati office for a Project Director

 

The Ipsos UU. Project Director is responsible for planning and implementing all full-service qualitative research and workshop projects for Ipsos  UU.  This full-time, salaried position with benefits reports to the firm?s Director of Project Management for career development, training and work content. 

 Responsibilities

A.  Initiate, organize and implement qualitative market research and workshop projects for end clients, researchers and partners, placing the work in the field accurately, on-time and within agreed to project budget.

 

?  Takes requests from clients for project dates, times and human resources, balancing availability and need; recommends appropriate suppliers and moderators for work (with consultation with Ops Manager and Moderator Manager).

?  Directs clients to appropriate internal consultants for research design.

?  Builds a detailed-project plan including all specifications for recruiting, facility, location, human resources, budget, materials and suppliers; clears the plan with moderators/partners and clients.

?  Coordinates scheduling clients, researchers/partners and all suppliers.

?  Authors project proposal and bid for the work, including securing estimates from all parties and managing costs with suppliers to be within +/-10% of agreed to proposal.

?   Schedules and implements research project needs on-site including product placement/suppliers, client observer lists, meals, hotel recommendations/directions, overseeing recruiting and amending project bid as appropriate with updates to clients and moderators/partners

?  Follows-up with all parties on project satisfaction and reconciles/approves supplier invoices for firm?s Accountant. . 

 

?  Helps build internal IUU resources for more efficient project management:

 

 

?  Serves as key end client relationship link for key Ipsos Understanding UnLtd. clients, building knowledge of client specific research needs/preferences & re-applying as appropriate.

?  Tracks all assigned projects in Project Management Database (Microsoft Access application) to insure clear communication with IUU researchers & Accountant

?  Takes facility satisfaction feedback, shares learning with colleagues & builds internal supplier files to improve full-service project management supplier options

?  Writes, organizes and helps maintain the recruiting screener files for future category projects

?  Suggests internal improvements to project management process as appropriate
