The Marketer position is responsible for executing jurisdictional marketing plans and programs to drive new sales and renewal revenue growth across all supported Segments in the region.

 

Major AccountabilitiesExecute jurisdictional marketing programs in support of new sales and renewal revenue goals Manage program costs within allocated budget Assist in identifying market opportunities by message development, customer identification, channel coordination, and program production and analysis. Perform analysis of customers, programs, markets, and competition and conducts cost/benefit analysis to facilitate marketing strategies and opportunities. Contribute to the development of regional marketing strategies, campaigns, tactics, plans, programs, and budgets. Collaborate with Segment and PAMD Marketers to identify best practices and share program results and key learnings, including benchmarks and supporting metrics Responsible for documenting marketing programs and preparing regular activity reports Provides program level support for jurisdictional product marketing as required

 

Financial ResponsibilityManage costs associated with program execution Track project costs and provide budget forecasts for cost/benefit analysis of programs


TravelThis position requires periodic travel (approximately 20%) throughout the assigned jurisdictions as well as occasional to West headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota


QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education and ExperienceFour-year college degree in business or marketing related field, MBA preferredMinimum 3-5 years marketing or related experience

 

Knowledge and SkillsStrategic thinkingStrong analytical skills; ability to understand and work with dataExcellent organizational, writing and communications skillsStrong project management skillsHigh level of initiative; ability to meet deadlinesFamiliarity with legal and regulatory publishingFamiliarity with market research activitiesFamiliarity with traditional marketing communication mix
