We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a highly motivated team player as a Marketing Admin in our Worldwide Headquarters located in our Glenview location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring an in-depth knowledge of Anixter's Wire and Cable product line and maintaining product, pricing, contract and customer data in the company's computer systems. Will work closely with product managers, salespeople, suppliers and purchasing personnel to support inventory programs, cost updates and catalog projects. Position may lead to a management role.

The ideal candidate will be a recent college grade or have a minimum of two years experience in an office environment. Knowledge of the electrical and/or electronic wire and cable industry is a plus. Good PC skills, including Word, Excel and Access are required, as are excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Should be able to work independently with a great degree of accuracy and with a sense of urgency whenever the need arises. Must have the desire and ability to take on new challenges and be flexible in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
