GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for compiling, integrating and analyzing data to support the marketing efforts of the Distribution business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Compiles and keeps updated a database of Distribution users (volume, location, type of products and suppliers)
-Scan written and on-line trade journals/media for relevant informaiton about our competitors, customers, markets and communicate appropriately internally.
-Design and update marketing materials as directed.
-Update (both internal and external) Distribution Marketing Materials on PolyOne's website (Polynet)
-Complete and present market studies as directed
-Analyze and summarize erosion/growth for the Distribution business by coordinating with Finance and Sales.
-Develop, with direction, a lead/prospect follow up program.
-?Supports evaluation including data development and analysis of various markets, products, and geographies considered as expansion opportunities for business.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-Bachelors degree in Business or related degree. Masters preferred
-Three years of marketing related experience. Prefer five years of experience in a Distribution environment or the plastics industry.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
-Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
-Excellent research and project coordination skills
-Ability to apply complex analytical and critical thinking skills.
