Marketing Analyst - Web Conversion

Headquartered in Richmond, VA, we are currently experiencing significant company growth. Due to this growth we are currently seeking to add a new member to our Web Site Marketing Strategy team!


 

The Web Strategy Analyst is responsible for all analysis and research supporting initiatives to drive traffic from carmax.com to CarMax store locations. This individual will interact heavily with the web team to inform, persuade, influence, and support strategic initiatives for our web site.

Our senior executive team has identified web to store traffic conversion as a key company priority. From the top down, CarMax believes that great analytics drive great decisions. We rely heavily on our analysts, and count on them to move the company in the right direction.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on web to store metrics by conducting primary research and analyzing existing data sources
- Identify web to store conversion barriers and their root causes through objective analysis and research
- Deliver insights on how consumers want to interact with CarMax while online to inform strategic solutions that best support their needs
- Develop a system to monitor and report on carmax.com lead quality. Identify ways to segment leads into high versus low probability of conversion.
- Provide analytical support and consumer feedback measurements for all web to store conversion tests

Ideal Candidate:
- BA/BS degree with a strong GPA and SAT scores
- 0-3 years work experience in an analytical role
- Strong analytical thinker with excellent quantitative skills
- High level of intellectual curiosity with the desire to dig beneath surface level observations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through written reports and oral presentations with all levels of management
- Strong ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to interact effectively in a cross-functional team
