Marketing Analytics Manager

CITY: Schaumburg STATE: Illinois COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Lead role in analyzing and defining market opportunities and strategies for vertical segment; including market segmentation, modeling and determination of target segments.

*Perform in-depth detailed analysis (e.g., SWOT) on concepts/industries for potential opportunities

*Work with Segment Leaders and external customers to understand "Voice of Customer" and translate into business strategy based on analysis.

*Supports Segment leaders in execution of go-to-market strategies

*Based on research / analysis, outline recommendations to drive marketing strategy, and influence stakeholders to gain support for solutions or services.

*Support current and future derivations of product enhancements through NPI process.

*Works with Integration leader to provide analysis and data around acquisition targets.


Qualifications/Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Statistics or Mathematics

*Minimum of 4 years in Market Research, strategic planning, marketing and/or product management role
- Strong detail orientation skills
- Analytical skills
- Strategic thinking skills

*Experience creating recommendations based on market indicators and customer trend interpretation

*Demonstrated proficiency with compiling, comparing and summarizing data from multiple sources

*Advanced Excel skills, and intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint Skills

*Ability to travel up to 40%

- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification and background check.

*Green belt certification (GE Employees only)

*Demonstrated ablility to distill wide-ranging viewpoints and create simple solutions or processes by applying strong analytical, research, and effective written communication and presentation skills

*Ability to work in a multi-tasked - fast paced start-up environment.

*Logistics, Distribution or related industry experience is a plus.
