Marketing Analytics Manager - International

GO GLOBAL! Our client, a leading provider of English language instruction in 26 countries around the world, seeks a Global Marketing Analytics and Insights Manager. The position is located at their world headquarters in Baltimore, MD. Primary duties will include:

 
Developing and implementing a Global Market Intelligence platform that includes regular collection and dissemination of intelligence from secondary sources about the Industry, competition etc.
Conducting primary market research in the form of qualitative or quantitative research with individual consumers or prospects, corporate buyers and/or staff in traditional or online forms in countries of interest.
Becoming the internal Subject Matter Expert on our database of students and alumni, their demographics, study patterns etc. Ensure the database is optimized and maintained appropriately. Analyze the data to significantly improve our understanding of our own customers and extract insights through proactive data mining that lead to improvements in operational aspects of the business (customer service, learning effectiveness, advertising, marketing etc).
Become a consultative resource for our Global Franchisees to use for analytical firepower and the extraction and utilization of insights from their databases.
Effectively contribute to the Strategic Planning process as well as Annual business planning process by collecting, summarizing and disseminating appropriate business information.

 

 



The Ideal Candidate

 
Has had at least 5 years of experience in a Data Mining capacity
Has a ?strategic? orientation
Exposure to International markets is a plus
Has at least a Bachelor?s degree in Business or a related field. Masters preferred
Strong statistical skills
US Citizen
Ability to travel internationally
Flexible to accommodate different time zones around the world as needed
High energy level, positive outlook and enthusiastic
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills are essential
Ability to effectively utilize typical office software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc) is a given.
