Marketing - Assistant Traffic Manager

Responsibilities:

 

Create original and revised schedules for a smooth overall workflow for all projects that flow through the Creative department.  Responsible for allocating and managing resources, budgets and timelines for the production of advertising projects.  Projects include but are not limited to: BJ?s Journal advertisements and editorial, coupon sections, video production projects, web projects, trial/member acquisitions, direct mail/customer relationship marketing initiatives, radio and television production, special events, vendor mailings, and seasonal merchandise catalogues.  Duties include proofreading all material for accuracy and managing the traffic process to ensure all deadlines are met.  Additionally, attends kick-off meetings and creative reviews.  Also performs additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.  Must be detail oriented and have at least two (2) years of related experience working as a Traffic Coordinator with project management responsibilities.  A working knowledge of print production and creative computer skills such as QUARK are also necessary.  Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent work experience, is essential.
