Marketing Black Belt

A large global diversified specialty chemical and resin company is seeking a Black Belt with marketing/product management experience in the chemical or plastics industries who has used Six Sigma principles in marketing and/or pricing.  This high visibility full-time Black Belt role, reporting into the Six Sigma organization, will lead significant growth and profitability initiatives within the assigned business units.  The incumbent will work closely with functional leaders and senior management executing high impact projects using Six Sigma methodologies to support business growth priorities.  The incumbent will also develop project scope, objectives, and materials that coach, mentor, train and develop Green Belt project teams.  Success in this role will lead directly into a strategic marketing or business leadership position.

 

The candidate must have a college degree (MBA is preferred) with a minimum of 7 to 10 years progressively responsible business experience.  Chemical education/experience/background is strongly preferred.  In addition, the candidate should be a certified Black Belt (outstanding Green Belts may be considered), have superior analytical skills, financial savvy and marketing or product management experience.  Prior pricing/value capture analysis is desired.  Excellent communication, presentation and team leadership skills are a must.  Promotability is also required.
