Business Banking Segment Manager

 

 

MANDATE: 

Primary responsibilities include identifying the desired client experience by segment, as well as the client marketing/sales strategies, tactics and business objectives by segment, with the goal of improving the client experience and increasing segment revenues.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Improve Client Experience

o  Define desired client experience by segment

o  Proactively evaluate the current client experience

o  Recommend opportunities for improvement and support execution

 

? Develop, align and support segment strategies

o  Develop the business and client strategy by segment in conjunction with the LOB

o  Translate strategy in to actionable tactics and support execution

o  Ensure individual segment strategies are aligned and coordinated across LOB

o  Provide input/influence into the:

? development of LOB business objectives

? overall marketing and merchandising plan

? identification of segment sponsorships/partnerships

 

? Advise Business Banking Leadership

o  Develop insights and act as subject matter expert/authority for the:

? client

? competitive landscape/offerings

? current and emerging trends

o  Act as strategic advisory to LOB management team

o  Act as Business Banking relationship manager

o  Provide guidelines and develop a scorecard for measuring progress and success

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

? MBA or Advanced Degree

? 5+ years of marketing or product experience in the business banking segment

? Exceptional strategic marketing skills

? Strong strategy and strategic planning skills and proven expertise in implementing customer focused strategies

? Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication and presentation skills

? Demonstrate personal values consistent with the Mission and Values of the organization
