Marketing Communications Associate

OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION

Marketing and corporate communications position open to an individual who is proactive, inquisitive, detail oriented, can manage multiple projects, and who thrives in a team environment. This role is designed for someone with primary marketing and corporate communications experience. In addition, at least three years of related work experience is preferred.  The qualified candidate should have strong written and communication skills, advanced Excel and Word skills, and require only a moderate level of supervision.

 

Responsibilities

?  Maintain Marketing Collateral (some knowledge of Quark helpful) including brochures, industry handouts, annual reports and other firm materials

?  Coordinate Advertising

o  Monitor and track due dates

o Coordinate placement of ads with publications

o Submit ads for publication

o Contract with publications

?  Website Maintenance

o News postings

o Update corporate profiles as needed

?   Support Corporate Speaking Events

o Research related to speech data

o Draft selected content

o Maintain master database of speeches completed

o Research new speaking opportunities

?   Coordination of firm sponsored marketing events and industry trade shows

?  Firm event and trade show support and coordination

o Maintenance of email marketing lists and supporting mail merge and emailing

o Venue contracting

o Venue management including handouts, menus

o Maintain RSVP lists

?  Corporate Sponsorships

o Registration and tracking

?   Maintain Master Marketing Calendar

?  Manage Marketing Related Mailings

?  Manage Industry Association Reporting

?   Coordinate Post Closing Marketing

o Press release

o News service coordination

o Website enouncements

o Enter information into company database.

 

Skills/QUALIFICATIONS

?  Undergraduate degree; strong academic performance

?  Strong project management skills with an eye for detail.

?  Proven ability to deliver clear and articulate results.

?  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

?  The ability to effectively complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

?  A strong work ethic.

?  Proficient with MS Office, particularly MS Word, Excel (advanced skills), and PowerPoint.

?  Ability to write and modify Crystal Reports and Excel macros helpful, but not required.

 

Hours

?  Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

?  Some overtime will be required.
