We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Buyer to join our Procurement team in Kennesaw, Georgia.  This role will work in close collaboration with Marketing Communications and others (Advertising Agencies) to provide technical expertise and sourcing strategies for marketing communications related services.

Responsibilities:Negotiate, prepare, manage and coordinate agreements supporting the procurement of marketing communications services based on the business plans/strategies.  Purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment and supplies from vendors. Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. Develop strong working relationship with customers within Interiors business. Maintain on-going supplier relations and liaise between Interiors and suppliers as necessary. Identify and optimize opportunities within the buying process to streamline process for purchases. Guide external agencies and internal clients in development of specifications for printed literature. 



Qualified candidates will have: Knowledge of advertising industry Ability to consult with internal business units and external suppliers to develop needs and implement projects for printed materials and related services Ability to monitor and interact with a wide variety of suppliers to ensure performance according to agreement terms and conditions, pricing, quality and service requirements Commodity knowledge including purchasing premium items, trade show related services, fulfillment, adverting, PR and other marketing communications related services Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related Business field 8+ years experience in marketing communications field or in a related area Familiarity with a variety of marketing services' concepts, practices and procedures Ability to multi-task, lead and direct the work of others Wide degree of creativity and latitude Procurement/buying and SAP experience preferred Knowledge of printing technology and processes for various types of printed materials such as hang tags, labels, brochures, etc., is a plus
