POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the marketing project manager is responsible for the implementation, coordination and completion of marketing projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, gathers / generates content, assigns responsibilities as necessary, and monitors and summarizes progress of projects. Primary focus on website and lead generation as well as product and catalog launches with involvement in other tactical programs for tradeshows, advertising, public relations and research.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.

 Responsible for the management of Portescap?s website.Public Relations including all aspects of press release productionProduct / Catalog Launch ManagementBranding, Tradeshows and AdvertisingResponsible for assigned key performance indicators for the teamProvide assistance to sales and product management, as required (presentations, flyers, demo equipment needs, etc.)As required, lead special projects within the department Manage and coordinate all activities with literature Fulfillment / Lead ManagementAs required, perform market / competitive research

Critical thinking, problem solving and organization are important attributes required of this position. Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate through written and verbal means are essential. Knowledge of the motion control industry is highly desirable and will enhance the candidates ability to understand market needs / conditions to translate into effective tactical programs. Ability to manage ones personal schedule and the ability to work remotely with team members and supervisors is required.

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree with an emphasis in a technical field +5-7 years experience in sales, marketing, and/or project/product management. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of the manufacturing industry as this will assist in developing messages and positioning products/markets.
