Marketing Coordinator

Gensco is a multi-state wholesale distributor of HVAC products serving the Northwestern United States since 1948.  We currently have 650+ Team Members throughout twenty-four locations within Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.  We are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Tacoma. If you are looking for an opportunity with a company where you can grow, we want to meet you! 

 

The Marketing Coordinator ensures that the Marketing Department provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers.  This position provides effective marketing leadership to help grow Gensco?s sales and works closely with all levels of Gensco to identify opportunities for growing the business.  The Marketing Coordinator leads the Marketing Team efforts in coordinating and supporting Gensco?s marketing of the supply product lines and ensures all marketing programs are developed, completed and introduced prior to the start date of each program.  This position will also lead the Marketing Team efforts for providing Supply Customer training classes.

 

Education/Experience/Skills:



4 year college degree preferred

Demonstrated success within HVAC or wholesale industry

Ability to work across all levels of the organization

Excellent presentation skills, as well as, written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environment

Customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency

Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately

Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone

Able to use electronic calculator, computer terminal, personal computer, etc.

Must be comfortable working in a team oriented, fast paced, multiple task and customer focused environment

Willing to ?think out of the box? and identify process improvement opportunities

Requires the ability move freely about the facility, work sitting or standing, operate basic business machines, and lift and carry supplies

?  This is an exempt position, ineligible for overtime compensation.
