MARKETING COORDINATOR

(ADMINISTRATOR, SPECIALIST, ASSISTANT, REPRESENTATIVE)

 

We are currently seeking a dynamic MARKETING COORDINATOR, to join our marketing team at our brand new, state-of-the-art corporate headquarters located in Corona, California.

 

The ideal candidate will possess at least 2-3 years previous marketing experience with a manufacturer preferred, and a bachelor's degree is required.  They will also posses strong computer skills (MS Office Suite), and have previous experience with graphics design.  Executive administrative experience is a plus.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

 

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY



1. Primarily responsible for the support of the Marketing Department activities.



2. Attend Marketing updates and take minutes to assure proper communication and follow-up.



3. Processes non-stock and recurring requisition for the ordering of Marketing and Sales Support Materials. Track entire process to completion.



4. Support annual Price List maintenance including verification of correct pricing.



5. Tracks requisitions ensuring purchase orders are processed accurately, between marketing, purchasing and distribution.



6. Administers inventory levels with distribution for re-order points.



7. Monitors allocation of Sales Support Literature for Sales Rep Groups.



8. Coordinates mass mailings; sales promotion announcements, promotion reminders, new product releases.



9. Coordinates and researches selection of wearable merchandise, gathers and proposes samples, prepares requisitions by GL Accounts, business units and monitors inventory levels.



10. Support Marketing Communication Manager with placement of trade advertisements, including processing of sales lead inquiries generated, tracks leads to determine ad effectiveness, process lead information and forwards lead inquiries to appropriate Rep Group, then follows up for action taken.



11. Handles mass mailing to customers in both printed and electronic form via e-mail.



12. Support Marketing Communication Manager Trade Show activities.



13. Create daily/monthly project schedules.



14. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to facilitate the activities of Aqua Mix including special projects or other related work as required to support the activities of the Marketing Department



QUALIFICATIONS



1. Possess a high level of motivation, ability to work in a team environment with the ability to make recommendations or a decision and have the ability to follow supervision and maintain confidentiality.



2. Possess diplomatic and excellent communication skills.



3. Demonstrate effective organization skills and strong work ethic.



4. Possess a 4-year or equivalent Degree, with an emphasis in Marketing or Communication or demonstrates a high level of knowledge through work experience related to this position.



5. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Graphics Design Software optional not essential)



6. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and letter writing procedures.



7. Demonstrates judgment with the ability to problem-solve and have strong communication skills including sound follow-up skills.
