Marketing Coordinator for Broward Mall

The Mills Corporation is a self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT) based in Arlington, Va. that develops and manages an international portfolio of retail and entertainment destinations. 

 

We are currently seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator for Broward Mall in Plantation, Florida.  The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a retail, special event or customer service environment.  Responsibilities include:

 

?  Providing support for Marketing events and promotions as needed

?  Assisting with website maintenance, creating e-mail blasts, and working with retailers to secure merchant content information

? Coordinating placement of on-mall collaterals to ensure compliance with corporate direction.

? Greeting visitors and answering inquiries from customers, tenants, vendors or the general public

?  Acting as liaison with corporate community to promote and coordinate gift card sales, fulfillment and pickup

?  Maintaining and updating merchant contact lists, press clips, slide/video files and press kits

?Assisting with lease required advertising; advising tenants on lease requirements, updating their participation and distributing updated information to tenants

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong computer and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.HS Diploma or GED required.  Business School/College credits preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
