Marketing Data Manager

The Marketing Data Manager will be responsible for providing and executing marketing and customer service campaigns - including data gathering, ROI customer analytics and automation of processes.

Work with Marketing, Customer Service, Research and Data Warehouse teams to manage effective and targeted marketing initiatives from a data perspective. Ensure that all data processes for campaigns are automated and measured. Position must work well with multiple teams and demonstrate a high proficiency in: developing automated lifecycle and up sell campaigns, targeting and segmenting ad hoc campaigns (email, outbound and direct mail), and providing real time campaign ROI analysis.

Responsibilities will be to gather and compile large amounts of data using SQL and/or campaign management tool from data warehouse. Ensure that all campaign testing (offer, creative, subject line, customer segment) is accurate by leveraging control groups; manage in-house promotional codes, cleansing of customer data and working with external vendors processing and manipulating data files. Work with data warehouse team to ensure that databases reflect realities and present findings to Senior Management. Requires: BA/BS in Marketing, MIS or Business; MBA a plus with 6-8 years relevant work experience in relational databases and customer marketing. Strong knowledge of customer marketing, data segmentation and campaign analysis; working knowledge of SQL and data structures a must; excellent MS Access and Excel skills and presentation skills; Microstrategy or similar BI tools a plus. Data warehouse and requirements gathering experience also very desirable.
