Marketing Database Analyst 2

Job Description: Responsible for performing assigned database-related analyses and projects, using database marketing tools/methods, where business requirements and analytical needs are somewhat defined. Ensures adherence to compliance regulations and policies. Responsibilities include data mining and modeling, regression analysis, process documentation, profitability analysis, lead/list generation, customer attrition, and direct mail campaign analysis; responding to requests from partners for customer information reports, lists, etc.; and identifying/recommending potential data sources.

Able to identify and define strategic business issues requiring marketing database analysis. Marketing leads programs operations & campaign analysis, with particular focus on our leads, processes and infrastructure. Develops, directs, and assists in the preparation of moderately complex computer solutions in the maintenance and modification of new and currently used programs. Develops new programs of basic to moderate complexity. Performs modeling, simulations, and analysis. Prepares program test data, tests and debugs programs.


Minimum Qualifications: 4 - year degree and 2-4 years experience.


Preferred Skills: Solid database skills used for database marketing are critical to this role. 2+ years in a systems operations and / or development role, ideally using SAS. Prior coding and development experience a must. An ideal candidate has passion for systems, a breadth of practical technology experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Server SAS, and UNIX experience a plus.
