We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager - DRTV to join our team in the New Braunfels, Texas area!

 

Responsibilities include:

?  Manage external media-buying personnel and resources to develop, implement and measure broadcast advertising plans to accomplish brand and direct response television marketing goals related to awareness, lead generation, cost per lead, cost per sale and revenue.

?  Manage external production personnel and resources to develop and implement new and revised brand and direct response television commercials to meet strategic objectives within acceptable costs

?  Coordinate with impacted internal departments to insure television broadcast marketing tracking and measurement mechanisms are developed, implemented and executed accurately. 

?  Manage external resources to insure proper distribution of television broadcast media

?  Monitor and communicate the results of televisions broadcast campaigns and recommendations for improvements

?  Assist in the development of television marketing budget, manage approved budget, maintain accurate spending records and coordinate budget tracking with Marketing Controller

?  Participate in the development and execution of the television advertising strategy

?  Assist in the investigation and assessment of new television broadcast-related opportunities.

?  Other duties as assigned

 

  Required Qualifications:

?  Apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step 

    instructions

?  Read, analyze, and Interpret the most complex documents

?  Write complex documents in a prescribed format

?  Understanding of and experience with marketing/advertising

    strategy, positioning and messaging,and general marketing/advertising

  concepts, principles and terminology

?  Familiarity with broadcast advertising production and media placement practices, procedures and terminology

?  Familiarity with standard marketing performance measures (I.e. GPM, CPL, CPU, per inquiry, CR%, RR%, seasonality, performance curves, etc)

?  Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

?  Must have excellent math skills

?  Must have good data analysis skills

?  Must have good logic skills

 



Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications or other television broadcast-related studies; and 3-5 years? job-related experience and/or training in television media-buying and/or brand and DRTV commercial production; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
