Healthcare Products Marketing Manager:
Manages the day-to-day marketing activities of the providers of health products and services and integrates the product marketing activities, needs, messages, and plans into the AARP Health Care Options family of products marketing plans and initiatives. Responsible for the shared goals of AARP Services, AARP, and Provider-Partners that will increase membership value, support membership acquisition and renewal, sell product, and generate revenue.
1. Manages the day-to-day provider marketing relationships and activities to achieve sales, cost, and enrollment goals.
2. Works with the provider and with cross-provider teams to develop and implement multi-channel relationship marketing programs and promotional activities, driving systems and business processes, customer referrals, and sales. Provides day-to-day oversight of programs and activities.
3. Uses research, database and interactive tools, and knowledge of health care delivery systems to help develop and implement effective marketing models, materials, and programs.
4. Works with the provider to develop marketing plans and budgets that integrate with provider business plans. Analyzes plans and budgets for cost effectiveness and oversees plan implementation and results.
5. Leads provider and cross-provider teams to plan and implement large-scale marketing-related projects involving telesales, HCO marketing data warehouse, HCO and provider websites, HCO contact center scripts, branding, and compliance of all activities and materials with insurance and government regulations.
6. Manages with the providers the development of marketing materials, product positioning, and member and media communications. Conducts copy review of all communications to ensure accuracy, conformance with AARP brand and public policy, and compliance with insurance regulations, in conjunction with provider and AARP Services legal counsel.
7. Manages vendors, advertising agencies, and consultants.
8. Maintains, develops, and seeks industry knowledge and knowledge of marketing health products and services across channels and to targeted audiences.

Marketing Services / NPD Marketing Manager Opportunities:
Summary:
AARP Services, Inc., a wholly owned, for-profit subsidiary of AARP, seeks a Marketing Manager for the Marketing and Integration Department in Washington, DC. Position is responsible for providing overall marketing expertise, support and execution for strategic alliances as well as new product development. This position will work with business relationship owners as well as other departments as appropriate to help increase membership value, partnership value, member acquisition and revenue.
BS/BA, 6-10 years related experience in integrated marketing to include: strategy and execution in direct, brand, PR and events for profit business environment. Demonstrated experience in product marketing and project management. Strong collaborative, consultative, strategic and functional skills required. Ability to successfully navigate a matrix organization. Self starter, ability to manage multiple clients and projects, detailed and deadline oriented a must. Agency experience a plus.

Qualifications:
Completion of a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree desired) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline and 8-10 years of business, marketing, and operations experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the duties of the position.
Excellent written, verbal, visual/presentation and interpersonal communications skills. Detail-oriented and a possess ability to work on multiple projects. High energy-level, team player dedicated to excellent customer service for internal and external customers. Ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and layout and graphics tools.
Ability to work as part of a dynamic team in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. PR or Client Management (internal and/or external) experience is desirable.
