Marketing Manager - Job 8996

Candidates who have five years or more experience as a Marketing Manager, longevity with previous companies and primarily client side experience will be given the strongest consideration. 

Job Description
Major areas of responsibility include marketing communications (advertising, direct mail, collateral, public relations, trade shows/industry events, promotions, e-marketing, training/educational materials, etc.), market planning, product launches, brand identity, and pricing.

Key day-to-day activities include:

?Generation of strategic and tactical marketing programs/schedules
?Create and manage marketing plans including strategy, positioning, and promotions
market research, program specifications that help achieve sales and profit objectives
?Provide sales force with leadership and effective marketing support, including tools
?Writing and copy development of ads and collateral and working with creative services
?Planning product launches
?Managing of advertising/promotional campaigns for effectiveness and budget adherence
?Work cross-functionally with the product development, sales, manufacturing and
distribution to ensure optimization of product marketing
?Track competitive marketing and product activities and prepare periodic reports
detailing marketing efforts of key competitors
?Manage relationships with sales management, field sales and key customers to obtain
feedback regarding product usage, satisfaction, problems and competitive activities

 

Education/Experience:

?BA/BS degree required, preferably in marketing or marketing related discipline
?At least 5 years marketing related experience, preferably in the healthcare and/or
consumer products industries.
?A track record in product launches and brand growth required

 

The client prefers candidates who have little to no agency experience and have spent 5 or more years with their previous employer.
