Heartland Security Insurance Group is a diversified holding company based in Tyler, Texas with seven independent operating units, all involved in some aspect of insurance or risk management.  Total employment for all insurance operations is now in excess of 250, and the organization has been under continuous ownership for over 30 years.  Today, there are over a dozen individual stockholders, as well as significant ownership by the Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) plan.  Through the ESOP, each individual associate has a vested interest in providing the very highest level of service to the client.

Position Description

As an integral part of the Claims Administrative Services (CAS) team, this position is responsible for developing marketing strategy to grow and retain existing client base as well as implement a marketing strategy to capture new business.  The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating marketing materials, determining market sector and coordinate efforts to penetrate those markets.  The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for web based marketing efforts to increase market share.  In addition, the Marketing Manager will attend and coordinate Claims Administrative Services (CAS) presence at trade shows and conventions to include travel arrangements for attendees, meeting rooms, exhibit space, and special events for clients and prospects.

 

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or other related discipline.5 years experience in Marketing in the insurance industry.3 years Management experience.Proficient in MS Office products to include MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills.Proven track record for success through market analysis developing programs to market interest and contributed to retention of business.Must be willing to travel within the South Central states.
