PRODUCT MANAGER Medical Devices   MRI Atlanta-Peachtree North is an industry-leading recruitment organization specializing in the medical industry that places superb talent with exceptional employers. We are recruiting for a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of medical devices that has several outstanding opportunities for a Product Manager with experience in medical devices.


 


The Product Manager will have responsibility for full lifecycle management, upstream and downstream, of medical devices. A successful history of new product launches, collaborative work on product design teams, creative approaches to product marketing leading to gains in market share, education and motivation of a sales organization, and a full and complete understanding of the medical device marketplace is required. There will considerable interface with R&D, engineering, and other functions within the organization as well as heavy interface with the customer on product innovations and new products. Experience in the management of multi-discipline design teams, budget responsibility, global collaboration, and a prior history of successful marketing efforts are requirements. A full and complete knowledge of the medical device marketplace and the ability to continuously evaluate trends and adjust strategy to compensate and take advantage of shifts is required. There are current openings in the areas of Pain Management, Gastro-intestinal,
Airway Management, and other disposable medical devices.


 


The requirements are:


At least one year of experience at a Product Manager/Marketing Manager or Associate Product/Marketing Manager level in medical devices.

BS in Marketing or other supporting discipline with preference for advanced degrees.

Prior success in a marketing role and the desire to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the process of developing products.

Knowledge of medical devices, O.R. procedures, and medical disposables.

Ability to travel
