Marketing Procurement Manager

Enterprise Rent-aCar’s Corporate Marketing Communications (MarCom) department has an immediate opening for a Marketing Procurement Manager. With 50+ employees managing Corporate and Group initiatives ranging from research to copy to media, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the print purchasing team as well as manage our internal technology applications. Through the development of exceptional sourcing strategies and superior supplier relationships, this individual will keep abreast of current marketing procurement options and drive cost reductions. In addition, the successful candidate will possess the skills necessary to evaluate technology options that will allow us to efficiently & effectively meet the increasing demand for marketing materials.

Responsibilities:
Leading the departments? print purchasing team in developing sourcing strategies and quality suppliers to support business objectives/requirements, including diversity purchasing goals, while delivering exceptional customer service
Developing and managing superior supplier relationships
Identifying and implementing cost savings/avoidance, and/or value maximization opportunities
Negotiating supplier agreements in collaboration with Director and resolving disputes with suppliers
Reviewing and approving purchase requests over buyers? limits
Knowledge of the latest trends in marketing materials and printing, and ability to effectively present these new ideas/concepts to MarCom Directors & Managers
Creating an environment of clear communication and information sharing
Recommending and overseeing various technology solutions and upgrades for the department from initial research through implementation and ongoing maintenance
Assist with planning and implementation of FileMaker Pro upgrade and database rebuild
Investigate options and recommend practical solutions for updating & maintaining online marketing collateral ordering system to meet current and expected future needs
Provide MacIntosh software/hardware purchase recommendations for department and maintain accurate records of these assets

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or other business related field
Six or more years of relevant experience in marketing procurement and 3 years of Management experience
Desire and ability to research available options, determine those that best meet the needs of Enterprise, and effectively present findings and recommendations to peers and upper Management
Project management experience with a proven track record of success in leading projects from initial conception through completion
Technical computer knowledge is not required but the successful candidate will have experience working effectively with both technicians and non-technical users to bring projects to completion on time and on budget
Proven negotiation skills
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with suppliers, co-workers, and all levels of management
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong work ethic with a positive "can-do" attitude and outstanding team building skills
Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
Self-starter with a proven track record of exceeding expectations
Availability to work greater than 40 hours per week as determined by the needs of the business
Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability and willingness to travel, if needed

Considered a Plus:
Working knowledge of MacIntosh hardware, including servers
Working knowledge of FileMaker Pro
Detailed knowledge of and experience developing online ordering systems
