Marketing Product Mgr I

Directs, develops and manages product/pricing/delivery/research/channel strategies for a category of products or service level. Responsible for full product marketing cycle for specified product categories. May be responsible for hiring, managing, training and developing associates.

Perform market competitive analysis and market comparison of debit solutions.

Build business cases for new product delivery or product enhancements for debit products.

Manage all steps of deployment of product enhancements including:? define functional requirements, manage vendor development efforts, test application as delivered by vendor, oversee quality assurance testing, create materials for training of all operational areas, and create sales marketing information.

Provide support and resolution for escalated product issues with debit product functionality.

Maintain debit product life cycle information as well as make recommendations for product features that should be decommissioned and product features that should be enhanced.

Maintain market awareness information including metrics associated with debit transaction volumes

Assist with creation of all marketing product slicks, sales presentations, and operational training materials are created.

Ensure all training to support product enhancements are complete for all operational, sales and account management areas.

Maintain market awareness of competing/complimentary debit products, including attendance at industry gathering and participation in forums on an as needed basis.

Act as liasion between BA Merchant Services and Debit Networks.

Submit Case For Change for enhancements to existing MultiLink Product, Merchant Requests, or Network Requirements

Provide Debit Network Pricing to organization when networks change their fees

Ensure BA Merchant Services is in compliance with Debit network rules and regulations

Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.

Confidence to interact effectively with all areas of the organization including Executive Management.

4-6 Years expertise and experience interacting with Debit Networks.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Six Sigma Methodology

Green Belt or higher certification

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance

Demonstrated passion for product management and the ability to motivate and mentor others
