Marketing Program Manager- On Air Communications

Job Responsibilities: This position involves working with internal departments and key personnel to ensure consistency of messaging and maintenance of standards for all existing customer on-air communications, producing timely and successful results, and working in a cross-functional environment. The Associate Manager is responsible for developing customer facing TV commercials to support branding, education and upgrade initiatives.

-derive customer communication and education strategies through other on-air marketing channels including Video-on-Demand (VOD), and DISH Network?s FYI Channel 101, as well as On-hold messaging.

-Support the creation and production of effective campaigns for customer communication and education efforts across on-air channels.

-Manage all aspects of on-air customer communication initiatives including the design of project briefs that include business requirements, budget, actions and timelines. Maintain and archive all ongoing records pertaining to projects.

-Organize and manage cross-functional initiative meetings to improve project definition, determine solutions and identify resources to be charged with a mutually agreed upon course of action.

-Develop on-air concept design and scripting; work with internal production team to execute.

-Perform post-initiative analyses including on-going review of campaigns and relative communication of results. In addition, prepare executive-level analysis, reports, and project status overviews for presentation to senior decision-makers within the company.

-Manage/conduct research to gain an understanding for who our customers are and what their needs are regarding Echostar products and/or promotions. Use this information to develop on-air communications while maintaining a focus on achieving corporate objectives.

-Support, consult and collaborate with team with regard to knowledge transfer on or about communication programs or initiatives.

Education: Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Experience: 3-5 years of job related marketing and project management experience is required.

Skills: Excellent verbal, written communication, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage project details while balancing multiple priorities. Able to operate in an environment with changing priorities and the need to respond quickly to situations.
