Description
The Manager of Marketing Research manages marketing research activity for the marketing department. This includes both primary and secondary marketing research.

Key Responsibilities
?Manage marketing research for designated in-line brands, as well as products/projects in development
?Manage the activities of Marketing Research Analysts
?Manage the reporting of regular secondary marketing research data to marketing management (weekly and monthly prescriptions, dollars, sales contacts, etc).
?With input from manager formulate annual marketing research plan. Execute annual marketing research plans for each product/project on time and on budget.
?Provide key regular and ad hoc data to the Commercial Development and Business Analysis functions





Education and Experience Requirements
?College degree required.
?Masters Degree preferred.
?5 years of pharmaceutical experience, 3+ years in pharmaceutical marketing research. Marketing experience a plus
?Must be results-oriented, pay attention to detail; be accurate, prompt and able to meet deadlines.
?Must be able to interface with key internal and external customers (Product Management, Sales, Ad Agencies, Data Vendors, consultants, etc)
Professional Skills:
?Must posses above average oral and written communication and presentation skills.
?Must possess excellent analytical and organization skills, determine priorities and follow through on projects and assignments and complete them in a timely manner.
