MARKETING RESEARCH SPECIALIST

Drives revenue growth and improves customer lifetime value by developing research methods, executing research plans, and providing recommendations related to customer behavior, industry trends, and competitive strategies.

 

*  Achieves marketing revenue targets by planning and participating in brainstorming sessions and working closely with Marketing teams to understand initiatives and determine research opportunities and strategies.

*  Determines research needs for customer acquisition, customer retention, and business checks by collaborating with the leadership team of each area to outline potential project objectives and strategic initiatives.

*  Establishes research methodologies by planning, developing, and executing phone, internet, and direct mail surveys, developing questionnaires, and coordinating with external resources as needed to determine customer behaviors, product and pricing strategies, customer lifetime value, testing methodologies, buying trends, and market trends.

* Prepares and presents actionable research findings, analysis, and recommendations by outlining project research results, suggestions for improvements, and other customer data reporting needs to support learnings.

*  Insures successful execution by communicating marketing research initiatives and proactively partnering with other areas of the business.

* Supports and maintains ethics of the business by protecting customer and financial information, applying company?s core values, and complying with policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent related work experience.

Experience: 3 to 4 years in marketing research, analysis, advertising, or direct marketing. Customer research or retention program experience preferred.

Knowledge: Customer research; survey execution; data collection; retention and loyalty programs.

Skills: Personal computers in an MS Windows environment; interpersonal and written communication skills; analysis; negotiation.

Abilities: Leadership; work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
