Marketing Researcher

Zeus Industrial Products, Inc. is the leading international manufacturer of engineered tubing for use in the medical device, aerospace, electronics, and other high technology industries.  We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Marketing Researcher. This position will be located at our Sales & Marketing facility in Orangeburg, SC.

 

The Marketing Researcher will be responsible for researching and reporting on new market opportunities for future and current product lines. The Marketing Researcher will work with the Director of Marketing Research to develop strategies for market penetration and product launch campaigns. The Marketing Researcher will interact closely with top management in both the medical and industrial sides of the sales organization.

 

Requirements:Bachelor's degreeAdditional training and development in marketingComputer skills including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, etc2 years min industrial marketing experience preferredKnowledge of plastics industry preferredResearch, Communication, Writing, and Presentation Skills

 

Duties & Responsibilities:Conduct, research, identify, and define new market opportunities Conduct primary and secondary research analysis of current marketing conditionsObtain present and analyze data on applications and product life cycles.Conduct research, monitoring, and reporting on competitors activities.Assist in maintaining of competitor profile on the Zeus Intranet.Assist in the development of marketing strategies for new and existing productsManage product launch plans and facilitate transition to a sales champion. Work closely with both internal and external sales representatives to help evaluate customer feedback for current and developing product markets.Interface closely with R&D to help guide product development and improvement based upon market research.Serve as part of the customer interaction team in order to explore future product needs and evaluate market strategies to maximize product visibility.Assist in the updating of the corporate marketing plan.
