Position Responsibilities:  The Marketing/Sales Support Manager is responsible for supporting the Sales Team throughout the Bid Process and in preparation of responses to RFIs and RPFs while also ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of news and information about Strategic Distribution to its internal and external stakeholders. The primary purpose for this position is to coordinate external data collection, internal cross-functional data analysis and business case creation that supports the bid process. Secondarily it is core responsibility of this position to increase the knowledge of both internal and external customers about our business and corporate goals/objectives through marketing communication initiatives that support brand recognition for our programs and reinforce the value added benefit of SDI.  In this key role at SDI, the Marketing/Sales Support Manager will balance work evenly between Marketing and Sales Support. 

Requirements:  Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing along with a minimum of 5 years experience as a marketing manager, preferably with a background in industrial supply is required.  Experience in integrated supply either in purchasing or sales a plus.  Must have a financial understanding of the cost of providing a supply service and knowledge of integrated supply; experience working with finance, operations and sales teams to develop rate structures is preferred.  Budget planning and management is also a requirement of the role.  Must also be an independent self-starter who works well with all levels and departments within an organization.  Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency in all MSOffice applications and excellent oral and written communication skills.
