Qualifications/Requirements
?Bachelor?s degree in marketing or business administration.
?A minimum of 4 years experience in market research, market or business analysis including primary and secondary methods
?Supporting role in new product and or market development efforts utilizing industry, customer and competitor insights through secondary research, interviewing, voice of customer and customer insight visits.
?Understanding and application of key analytical frameworks, forecasting and statistical analysis
?Proficiency in MS Office software applications required.
?Exceptional analytical, organizational/prioritization and communication skills
?Proven ability to understand business issues and create analysis approaches to support decisions.
?Ability to package and communicate analysis results in a concise/easy-to-understand manner.
?Highly motivated, self-starter capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Specific Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead and participate in market, competitor and customer insight projects by providing research and analysis on key market growth opportunities for existing products and new technology platforms. The candidate will have extensive report writing experience and skills, questionnaire design and data design experience. Activities include but are not limited to:
?Understanding of existing industries, markets and company technologies
?Identify gaps and growth opportunities and create strategic recommendations
?Gather and document customer, competitor and market insight using defined hypothesis
?Conduct all primary research using quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
?Conduct secondary research using existing database analyses and internet searches
?Work with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs and market competitive dynamics into solution development.
?Perform basic level of statistical analysis.
?Identify trends and assess relative growth opportunities.
?Manage information sources and network with industry experts and analysts
