Our Company is actively recruiting for a Marketing Trade Show & Seminar Technology Specialist to support successful lead generation campaigns across North America. The ideal candidate has a technology marketing background including tradeshow, seminar and event planning coordination and will be responsible for supporting all aspects of our company?s lead generation activities.

The position requires the skills to quickly implement programs that excite, impress and deliver results.

 

This position requires the ability to travel up to 40 - 50% of the time.


The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Director of Americas Field Marketing to execute direct marketing and email campaigns, webcasts, road shows and other activities. In addition, they will work with the Field Marketing staff to oversee logistics of marketing events such as customer seminars, user conferences, and trade shows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Coordinates the company's involvement in trade shows, including designing booths and materials. Research possible trade shows and make recommendations based on corporate goals and lead objectives

? Execute and/or provide support for lead generation campaigns in specific markets and continuously quantify the effectiveness of the campaigns
? Understand target markets, develop short-term and long-term project plans and work closely with marketing team to gain consensus on project plans and budgets with regular reporting
? Support planning and execution of annual User?s Conference and Leadership Council

Requirements:


This is a hands-on position and requires projects be taken from concept through to implementation. Applicants should possess a strong lead generation programs background with a proven track record of running successful events as lead generation activities, as well as the following qualifications:

? Bachelor?s degree in Marketing or similar
? 2-3 years of supporting marketing programs for a software company
? Must have the ability to embrace change and collaborate with others to reach desired goals
? Detail-oriented and results focused with outstanding program/project management skills
? Proven ability to deliver projects on time while achieving or exceeding results estimates
? Ability to manage budget and make the ?right? cost/benefit decisions
? Dynamic and self-directed. A ?get-it-done? attitude, a very high level of self-motivation, and the willingness to be hands-on and execute
? Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
? Ability to travel up to 40 - 50 % of the time
? Understanding of customer centric/solution selling and sales process is a plus
