Thomson Creative Solutions is looking for an experienced Marketing Writer.  This position primarily develops and writes content for Creative Solutions? external marketing communications.

Major Responsibilities

 Create effective marketing communications that reflect Creative Solutions? core positions and messages. Develop and write content for marketing materials and website, including brochures, letters and flyers for direct mail campaigns, advertisements, newsletter articles, and other marketing communications as assigned. Serve as project leader for a variety of projects, combining efforts with other Marketing staff members, such as graphic designers and other writers.  See projects through from concept to completion and meet project deadlines. Work with other departments to develop content and implement production.  Coordinate communications, including mailings, faxes and e-mail, with internal departments and outside vendors. Format documents for print, using the Mac computer and page layout software. Communicate with printing vendors, mail houses and advertising contacts as needed.

 
QualificationsBachelor?s Degree in Marketing Communications, Journalism or related field Five years proven experience with marketing writing in a professional setting, preferably in a business-to-business environment. Ability to work cooperatively in a team atmosphere. Ability to meet intense and changing deadlines, manage multiple projects and balance shifting priorities. Ability to learn a complex product line Knowledge of the principles that contribute to effective marketing writing.
