Marketing & Communications Associate

Overview:  Align Communications is looking for a strong communicator who is eager to use their writing, design and web skills to work for a dynamic, rapidly growing technology solutions company. This position requires a highly motivated person who can work well in an entrepreneurial environment. 

 

This person?s main responsibility will be to assist with marketing projects and sales initiatives. This person must have initiative, an ability to work in a team as well as independently, and be able to interact with people at all levels of the company. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across a number of MarCom disciplines: Design, writing, media, PR, events, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The position?s specific duties, tasks, activities, responsibilities and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

? Assist with marketing and communications efforts including but not limited to internal communications, company intranet, website, recruiting and career development programs

? Website maintenance and upgrades on www.align.com and home.align.com, including upcoming redesign initiatives

? Formatting, writing, editing, and creation of illustrations for marketing materials that include: client and targeted business partner mailings, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, corporate brochures, solution sheets and other collateral

? Presentation design and maintenance for all standard sales and any internal presentations for company meetings

? Assist branch and international offices with local marketing efforts

? Media planning for display advertisements

? Print buying for marketing and sales collateral as well as corporate stationery and professional business cards

? Public relations & media contact responsibilities

 

Skills

? Clear communicator, able to interact with personnel, work in a team environment, self-starter

? Creative and business writing, including formatting and editing

? Strong MS Office experience required

? Familiarity with web design, desktop publishing and design applications a plus
