Marketing & Communications Manager

Sandvik Mining & Construction, the world?s leading supplier of drilling and excavation machinery, equipment and tools for mining and construction industries, is currently looking for a Marketing Communications Manager for the Surface Mining Segment. Responsibility includes coordinating the Sandvik Marketing Communication (MC) activities.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

In this key role, the Marketing & Communications Manager?s main objective will be implementing a marketing communications plan for the Surface Mining Segment. 

 

Integral parts of this position include:

? Produce common marketing material which includes brochures, presentations, and advertising

? Serve as the Web editor for Surface Mining on the global Internet site

? Serve as Web master for Surface Mining Intranet site

? Editor for internal Surface Mining Newsletter

? Coordinate global advertising for the Segment

? Support Sandvik in trade shows and press events

? Sustain a common marketing message in the Segment and across Sandvik Mining and Construction

 

YOUR PROFILE

The qualified candidate will hold a bachelors degree in business administration, advertising, or journalism ? an MBA is a plus. The candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing and branding, with very strong written communications skills and ability to transform technical information into clear English. We are looking for an individual with 5+ years of relevant experience in communications, preferably in an industrial or Business-To-Business application, and with a high degree of computer proficiency. Work experience in an international environment is a plus.
