 POSITION OVERVIEW:  This position supports the presentation needs of the EDS board of directors, EDS senior leaders, investor relations, industry analyst and executive operations. The majority of the work is PowerPoint presentations; however, there are opportunities to design print collateral. Create and maintain the corporate presentation templates needed for internal and external use.

 

JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ability to conceive, design and project manage executive level presentation projects in support of the EDS board of directors and senior executives. Ability to interact with senior leaders and staff. Ability to provide counsel on messaging and presentation effectiveness. Must be able to be work in an environment that requires flexibility, dependability and confidentiality. 

 

POSITION PREREQUISITES:  A minimum of 5 years presentation design experience. Bachelor?s degree preferred. Advanced level skills in the latest versions of PowerPoint and intermediate to advanced skills in PhotoShop, Scanning Software, Excel and Word -- knowledge and experience in transferring files between these programs. Experience in inDesign and Illustrator is a plus. Strong attention to accurate spelling, grammar and style.  Additional requirements include:

? Project management skills for executive level presentation projects and multi-speaker events.

? Excellent communication skills to extended production team, project leadership, follow-through.

? Ability to manage change under pressure is a must.

? Ability to troubleshoot peripherals.

? Must be a quick learner and possess good problem solving skills.

? Ability to interact with executive leaders and staff.

? Must be able to handle multiple tasks/assignments and be able to set priorities.

? Strong organizational skills ? must be a very well organized individual.

? High self-confidence and willing to accept challenges.

? Listening skills (understands client needs/direction first time told).

? Strong problem solving skills (can improvise quickly).

? Must be willing to assist and/or take on new tasks.

? Must have a very high level of professionalism and must maintain professionalism even in busy/difficult/stressful times.

? Out of town meetings require a higher level of attention.

? Must work with minimal direction and take ownership for their responsibility.

? Attention to detail and follow-up skills are essential ? these help ensure the expected quality of the slides.

? Must be very creative and able to take rough concepts/ideas and create a meaningful graphic/slide to convey the message.

? Must be very responsive and take pride in their work.

? Excellent judgment and decision quality are essential.

? Ability to take direction from different individuals.

? Required travel approximately 10%.

? On call responsibility.

? Overtime ? 10 to 15% (Salaried ? no paid overtime).
