MEDICAL EDUCATION AGENCY ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Salary: From $110K-$150K

 

Our client is an extremely successful medical education agency that is involved in both CME and promotional education services.  Due to consistently expanding business we are seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead and manage specific projects with major pharmaceutical company clients. This highly professional individual will be responsible for delivery of projects and quality of work with our client?s top accounts.  It is important that the incumbent come from a medical education agency background and have experience and has established professional relationships with key pharmaceutical clients.

 

Responsibilities will include:

- Presents new business and project plans both internally and externally
- Develops strong relationships with key client contacts and obtain regular feedback
- Identifies the range and depth of support necessary for achieving project and account objectives
- Leads and directs account teams on all aspects of client maintenance and satisfaction, as well as coaching and mentoring the account team
- Ensures the strategic medical marketing development of all projects
- Reviews all projects for key marketing messages in conjunction with medical writers and marketing strategy

 

Qualifications:

- Degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, marketing or other relevant area with 5 years relevant experience.
- Experience from pharmaceutical industry/agency environment, preferably in the international arena.
- Experience of pharmaceutical strategic marketing programs including implementation and monitoring of PR and Publication Planning
- Understanding of Branding and Advertising processes and implementation would be an advantage
