Job Description: This role will manage: Product Development of Craft, Travel and Feeding (CTF) statements for Disney Home
Product quality, delivery timing, product samples and costing in line with direction from central category and creative teams through engaging in vendor negotiation
Product design from concept through product development including approvals
Implementation of effective product development process: ensure quality control in production for product and packaging
Work with project management on project scope, timeline and deliverables
Creative consistency of Disney artwork and character storytelling
Recommending creative strategies based on research, market and retail trends
Integration knowledge of the marketplace into designs with Disney characters
Work with category, retail and creative to ensure that design elements can be safely and cost effectively put into product.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (Industrial/Product Design, 3 dimensional design, graphic design)
Requirements/Experience
8+ years of product development experience with a background in engineering/manufacturing/sourcing/cost estimation: preferably with 1-2 yrs in a managerial capacity with some experience in Craft, Travel and/or Feeding
Product design and 3D illustration
Retail and display design
Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and CAD
