Multi-Brand Marketing Manager

 

Position Summary:

 

Title:

Multi-Brand Marketing Manager

 

Role Overview:

Strategically develop and manage the marketing mix for a multi-brand portfolio company, and the corporate parent.  Spearhead marketing analysis, program development, pricing policy, promotions and special events, collateral materials creation and implementation. Collaborate on market segment development, OEM/strategic alliance development, special projects. Lead internal and external communications, including PR programs.

 

Target Profile:

Entrepreneurial, seasoned, strategic marketing and business development professional with product/market portfolio management expertise. 7 ? 10 years+ track record in an industrial or consumer products (hard goods) environment. Experience with channel management, particularly in optimizing 1-step and 2-step distribution structures and relationships. Self-starting, self-managing, structured but nimble and practical manager.

 

Specific Responsibilities

 

Corporate: develop and refine corporate identity, via:

?  Public relations: press releases, corporate mailings, industry association activities

?  website updates and intranet materials

?  Newsletter editing/supervising

?  Special projects

 

Marketing: prudently cultivate and refine the marketing mix for the company?s brand portfolio, encompassing:

? Competitive intelligence/tracking, including pricing monitoring/benchmarking

? Market analysis, including sales analysis and optimization for key accounts

? Sales policy/pricing development and optimization

? Brand collateral materials upgrading and coordination: brochures, website, banners, etc

? Advertising coordination: consistency, purchasing power, program management

?  Product placement and promotion

?  Promo/Special Event coordination: corporate activities/materials

? Admin: corporate identity program management: cards, letterhead, etc.

 

Business Development

Design and manage new programs to expand reach & penetration, such as:

?  Distributor/customer-direct Direct Mail

?  Strategic partnering: research, data-gathering, prospecting; program management of profit and brand building partnerships

?  Key account presentation support; Powerpoint & excel graphing support for Brands

 

Additional Experience Desired

?  Implementation support monitoring ? key programs, national scope, major brand(s)

? Communications support ? writing/drafting of stakeholder presentations

? Adjacent industry experience: automotive, tools, hardware, industrial

? Strategic planning

? Flexibility: ability to move quickly, travel up to 25% of the time.

 

Compensation Profile

Commensurate with experience.

Expect a base of $65K ? $75K
