NAM Field Marketing Manager

The successful candidate will be an active participant in a strong and growing marketing team tasked with developing and executing TIBCO?s marketing strategy for the North America region. Much of this strategy will center on conveying TIBCO?s value propositions for SOA, BPM and Predictive Business to key horizontal and vertical markets. The primary responsibilities for this position are to manage the execution of TIBCO?s marketing strategy in the field, specifically:

? Work closely with sales management to define and execute marketing campaigns that are completely aligned to the needs of the sales force, appropriate to local market conditions, and which focus on:
o Driving demand generation across TIBCO?s target vertical markets
o Driving demand generation around horizontal product campaigns
o Increasing brand awareness of TIBCO
o Delivering tangible results
? Manage the local contact database and campaign management system
? Provide reporting on regional marketing campaigns and use of budgets
? Identify, develop and facilitate joint marketing activities with TIBCO partners

Reporting to the VP Customer Marketing, key measures of success in this role include the number of leads and associated pipeline generated for the region operation. This individual needs a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for all facets of a marketing campaign.


  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

? BA / BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Computer Science or equivalent
? Five years experience managing and/or leading marketing campaigns that vary in scope and complexity
? Previous experience working on or collaborating with a highly driven sales team as demonstrated through a solid understanding of software sales cycles
? Track record w. proven results demonstrating strong leadership and execution on marketing and communication plans
? Experience working with business partners to create joint lead generation campaigns


  ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

? Experience in the SOA and/or BPM markets is a strong advantage.
? Expertise in both horizontal product-focused marketing and industry vertical solution-focused marketing
? Budget management
? Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
? Creativity and an upbeat, positive attitude.
? Strong business sense and the ability to quickly learn and analyze a new market.
? Self-starter who is effective working independently and who has the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to work with a dispersed team across multiple functions to achieve objectives
? Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time
? Strong agency management experience (PR, events, mail houses, creative, etc)
