National Accounts Communication Consultant

RESPONSIBILITES:
?Create National Accounts client presentations that tell our story and provide strategic expertise in the packaging, launch and promotion of communication products and services for the Retirement marketplace while working to achieve the growth initiatives of the Retirement Group.
?Participate in sales presentations (communication fact finding and needs assessment, as well as presentation).
?Develop communications proposals, using demographic data and current and historical plan level information.
?Provide ongoing communications support for National Accounts clients through active monitoring of participant behaviors observed in the client?s plan.
?Responsible for developing and distributing cohesive, consistent messaging and positioning for all audiences (sponsor and participant, other gatekeepers).
?Responsible for managing post-sale communication campaigns and reporting results through Relationship Management.
?Develop and maintain excellent, effective relationships with internal groups, outside vendors and clients.
?Develop the Plan Sponsor and Participant communication value proposition and positioning strategies for marketing communications efforts for National Accounts clients.
?Manage employee communications products and leverage effectively for custom communications needs.
?Ensure product remains fresh, relevant and consistent with MassMutual RS strategy to deepen individual relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
?Be able to articulate our communication and education strategy effectively in sales and post-sales situations.
?Illustrates superior organizational skills, creativity, and is a metric centric professional. Demonstrates excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
?Has an executive presence and professional maturity to effectively interface with internal and external customers.
?Experienced in creating presentations that tell our story and create communications proposals, incorporating demographic data and plan level information.
?College degree strongly preferred.
?Minimum 10 years Retirement or related industry experience.
?8 years of benefits communications and enrollment experience.
?Working knowledge of retirement plan communications.
?Solid command of the written word.
?Excellent presentation skills.
?Proven track record as a creative thinker.
?Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills and the executive presence/professional maturity to effectively interface with senior management internally and externally.
?Prior client relationship or sales background experience preferred.
?Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment.
?Works well under pressure.
?Possesses good writing skills.
?Strong time management skills.
?Knows how to delegate.
?Solution-oriented.
?Able to travel 25-35%.
This opening currently resides in Springfield, MA, however as organizations and their structures evolve, locations may be reevaluated and position location may change. We are looking for candidates who have flexibility between MassMutual's two locations: Springfield, MA, Enfield, CT.
