Pricing Contracts Manager

We are currently seeking a Pricing Contracts Manager for our downtown Houston location.

In this role, you will manage retail and discount pricing processes and schedules for a newly developed enterprise wide pricing model for a $1.6 billion company, conduct regular pricing analyses and evaluation of current pricing strategy to drive pricing strategy, monitor and report pricing performance variances by tracking and analyzing region, division and yard level pricing data, monitor exception reporting and issue resolution and monitor billing system interfaces to maintain data integrity in master service list. Additionally, you will review pricing procedures and related processes to identify gaps and make recommendations to management regarding improvements including modifications to pricing strategy, and work closely with sales, marketing and legal staff to develop and maintain effective processes related to customer agreements including template development, data base management, etc. This position involves collaboration with division and functional area staff to improve and streamline work order entry, invoicing and reporting processes. 

 

Prefer experience with formulating pricing strategies, performing financial or market analyses, and conflict resolution. Requires a Bachelors degree, 3 -5 years of related work experience, preferably with the oilfield industry, knowledge of Seibel systems as well as MS Access, Excel and COGNOS or similar reporting package. Excellent communication and analytical skills required to

communicate effectively with senior leadership on pricing issues. Experience with internal controls related to the order to cash process necessary.
