We are ICI Paints, and we manufacture some of the finest brands of paints, packaging coatings, caulks, and adhesives in the world, including Glidden?, Ultra-Hide?, Dulux?, Sinclair?, Devoe Coatings?, Devoe Paint?, Liquid Nails?, Ralph Lauren?, Fuller O?Brien?, Klinks?, etc. Currently, we are seeking a Manager - Business Development at our Headquarters Offices in Strongsville, OH, to direct all activity relating to the development of new and existing International Licensee sales and marketing efforts. Basic responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, development and execution of approved plans for the International Export & Licensing (IE&L) group is a strategic business unit within the ICI Paints USA Decorative Paints business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Research market opportunities, market trends and competitive activities in the target markets. Working in conjunction with the VP International and Manager ? Export Sales, develop both sales and key market strategies as well as implementation plans to develop the market opportunities. Working with key licensee personnel develops, and supports the implementation of marketing and sales plans. Responsible for Royalty Fee revenues for assigned accounts Working with potential licensee?s in open markets, develop business and marketing pro forma?s to ensure effective and efficient licensee selection. Working in conjunction with Domestic Marketing, Technical Services and Category Management, Real Estate/Merchandising teams identify product support literature, sales aides and training tools needed to support the international sales and promotion activities. Working with licensee sales and marketing personnel gain an understanding of the competitive activity, pricing levels and price elasticity for major brands, products and product groups in the target markets. Develops, negotiates and implements technical and trademark agreements in conjunction with the VP International and internal legal support. Networks with key international organization and government agencies and monitors policies relating to antitrust, boycotts, embargo?s, illegal payments, labeling, patents, trademarks and regulatory laws affecting international trade in the target markets. Keeps an up to date log of assigned customer technical and trademark agreement and contracts to ensure that they are negotiated in a timely, effective and efficient manner. Participates in and supports the IE&L HAX strategy development & ABR budgeting process to ensure quality, accuracy and stated timelines are achieved. Develop and implement an annual Business Development Plan as agreed with the VP International. Participate in the S&OP planning process to provide forecasts, ensuring product availability and high OTIF achievements. Provide direction and assistance to the Marketing teams (from an International perspective) to help in the development and launch new or reimaged products that can be cascaded to International markets. Working in conjunction with Domestic Marketing, Technical Services and Category Management, Real Estate/Merchandising teams identify product support literature, sales aides and training tools needed to support the international sales and promotion activities.

REQUIREMENTS:BA or BS Business/Marketing required 10 years sales and /or marketing experience International sales experience in Central and/or South America a major plus Platform/Presentation combined with highly developed written business communication skills Problem Solving (KT/Green Belt/Black Belt) Negotiation Bilingual and fluent in written/oral Spanish preferred Working knowledge of patents and licensing
