The SFGate is currently seeking a talented Online Advertising Operations Manager to join its dynamic and challenging Ad Operations Department. This position is responsible for supervising Ad Traffic Operations and Billing and staff for SFGate, providing ad systems training, as well as creation and maintenance of reports, inventory analysis, and campaign optimization analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Reviewing incoming work orders and contracts for accuracy
-Develop and implement greater efficiencies and procedures for traffic, reporting, and analysis
-Independently prioritize and assign tasks for ad operations group as needed
-Review and approve detail-oriented work of other team members and proactively spot and fix problems
-Provide advanced level trafficking and testing of campaign creative
-Evaluate and implement new ad technologies and units for use on the site
-Ensure timely and accurate billing for campaigns, reconciliation of claims, and cancellation processing-- monitoring financial accounting reports to do so
-Ensuring campaign targets are set up on site while testing and trafficking of creative
-Ensuring that ad campaigns deliver within specified flight dates
-Working with ad agencies, clients, and account executives to ensure campaigns meet contract requirements
-Providing inventory and optimization analysis to account executives

Requirements:
-Minimum of three (3) years experience with online ad systems (Real Media or Doubleclick preferred)
-Experience managing workflow and task assignment within a workgroup
-Experience developing training plans and training others
-Proficiency in use of web browsing software and analysis of page source markup. Basic knowledge of HTML markup.
-Proficiency in use of email, especially handling of attachments
-Proficiency in the creation and management of documents using MS Office applications particularly Excel (formulas)
-Experience using third party as systems such as Real Media and Doubleclick required
-Experience with mainframe billing systems such as ADMARC desirable
-Calculating percentages, averages, etc. quickly for analysis is essential
-Extreme attention to detail; strong accuracy in following instructions and details; strong follow-up skills
-Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
-Solid and proven planning and organizing skills
-Highly motivated self-starter who can work dynamically with minimum supervision
-Able to handle multiple projects
-Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to maintain constructive work relationships with internal and external clients and vendors
-Strong communication skills. Written and verbal communication should be clear and concise
