The Opportunity

The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for continuing the growth and development of CarDomain?s online marketing strategy and executing on various marketing initiatives. The Online Marketing Manager will also have the opportunity to build upon some great assets that our site already has:

 >500k users writing indexable content for SEOViral marketing via our social network toolsEmail newsletter to 1+ million registered members

 

ResponsibilitiesDrive the strategic direction and execution of CarDomain?s online marketing channels.Lead company?s online customer acquisition efforts including online advertising, search engine marketing, affiliate program, site optimization, customer activation efforts, co-marketing programs and partner marketing initiatives.Lead company?s online customer retention efforts including email marketing and house file management.Analyze online marketing results to provide meaningful customer and product recommendations to community and retail business groups. Manage ongoing relationship with CarDomain?s online partners.Work with business development team to develop online marketing deals and to execute partnerships.Manage marketing relationships with online advertising networks, shopping portals and search engines.Drive creative development and copywriting of a variety of CarDomain marketing materials including:e-mails, landing pages, and online ads.Provide insightful, accurate, and timely reporting of various ongoing marketing metrics.Contribute to initiatives that enhance our community and store customer outreach efforts.Assist in driving web site development efforts based on customer feedback and marketing analysis.Assist with authoring media and public relations material.Represent CarDomain at select community and ad sales events.

 

Qualifications5+ years in online marketing in consumer brands and/or communities Strong project management and organizational skills Strong technical experience in implementation of programs, their processes and continued maintenance Strong Excel proficiency Thorough understanding of website and online advertising metrics in a quantifiable business environment - page views, click-thru, downloads, managing of opt-ins and other web-related metric tracking. A strong attention to detail in consumer marketing including creative, offer strategy and production Able to work independently as well as collaborate with offline marketing efforts to maximize return to the company Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
