Online Marketing Manager/Director

This position will report directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing and will have broad responsibility for the online marketing strategy and execution for multiple product lines.  This position will be responsible for concepting and executing online media buys to support customer acquisition and transaction goals at allowable costs.  The professional we seek must be proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and a day-to-day focus on bottom-line results.  This role requires strong negotiating skills with a strategy and analytical approach to monitoring and improving results.  This individual will steer and coordinate campaigns through all phases of launch and maintenance, including negotiations of the media buy, contract review, trafficking, reporting, and analysis and optimization.

 

Responsibilities:Source, evaluate and execute new online media opportunities.Maintain relationships with online media publishers and partners.Negotiate and review advertising agreements (rates, placements, parameters, etc.)Work with publishers on advertising campaign delivery and performance.Optimize buys, renegotiate rates, cancel or renew as necessary.Develop campaign analysis, optimization processes, and recommend strategic and tactical changes to maximize campaign performance.Oversee monthly media vendor invoicing and reconciliation.

 

Qualifications:Significant experience purchasing various types of online media vehicles under CPM, CPC, CPA, and flat-fee pricing structures.Strong knowledge of online marketing with a minimum of 5 years in online marketing and/or 2 years in online media buying.Experience in negotiations and contract review.Expertise with MS Office and strong overall computer skills.Experience with Atlas DMT is preferred.Experience with Omniture Site Catalyst is preferred.Expertise in both subscription/continuity programs and online retail is preferred.Bachelors degree with a marketing focus ? graduate degree is a plus, but not required.
