ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

 

The Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for uncovering customer needs and formulating specific solutions to individual advertising needs.  Individual and team monthly goals will be set and achieved through the selling of advertising space in the Hispanic Yellow Pages.  The AE is focused on selling to businesses of a small to medium size.  The AE will generate new business through direct, telephone or face-to-face cold-calling and appointment setting on a daily/weekly basis.  Minimum expectations exist for appointments each week and corresponding close rate of a minimum of five completed sales each week.

Skills/Qualifications:

 

You must have demonstrated selling success for a minimum of 1-3 years and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; must have good follow-up, rapport building and listening skills, as you will be required to create future upsell opportunities.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW:

 1-3 years in outside sales environment, Yellow Pages a plus Documented sales success Proven planning, time management and problem solving skills Superior spoken and written communication skills Verbal/written Spanish skill a plus, but not a requirement of the job Professional demeanor and poise Tenacity and perseverance to overcome reluctance and objections Highly polished interpersonal skills College Graduate preferred but not required Career minded
