As an account executive, media relations and account management will be your primary focus. In support of media relations, you should have good communication skills, regional or national contacts in entertainment, hospitality or celebrity media segments, and good news judgment.? The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and launching entertainment and nightlife venues.?

Job Description:Develop creative story ideas, pitch and achieve editorial placements?? Conceptualize, write and present?public relations and promotional plans with objectives, goals, strategies and tacticsSupervise?and execute?daily client?strategies and tactics and serve as day-to-day contact for nightclub and entertainment clients Plan, coordinate and implement events, tours, briefings and announcementsWrite press releases and advisories, and develop message pointsPrepare client status reports and briefing documents Manage at least one account coordinator to start

Qualifications:

Bachelor?s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or related field

?Must be able to work weekends and nights; keep some flexible hours

?

3-7 years professional experience required; agency experience preferred
