Agency Managing Director Position -- New York

 

Established PR agency with 14-year track record serving multinational corporations has a unique entrepreneurial opportunity for a qualified professional to take over as Managing Director of our soon-to-be-launched New York City office. If you?ve been working for years at a large agency, know the ropes and are ready to make a big career leap, this could be the chance of a lifetime.  Or maybe you already went out on your own and feel you could earn more and grow faster as part of a larger entity.

 

About us: we?re mostly former big agency people operating outside of New York for many years with a solid reputation among clients and the industry.  Now we need a New York presence to help access the national media for our clients, identify and manage a top professional staff, and help develop business for the New York office. We?re creative, strategic thinkers who refuse to accept mediocrity from ourselves and those who work with us.  And we know the kind of results that multinational clients demand and expect. A substantial portion of our portfolio is in the US Hispanic market so any experience in this area will be highly valued. 

 

About you: you?re highly self-motivated and believe enough in yourself that you?re ready to take a chance to earn some big money by putting your account management and new business skills on this line by having a large part of your compensation incentive-based.  We?ll pay you enough so you don?t have to worry about putting food on the table every  night, but getting rich is going to be up to you: you?ll share in the success of the New York operation with no maximum ceiling on what you can make.  If you?re self-disciplined to the point that you can work hard with that incentive and are ready to chart your own course, this might be the ideal job for you. You?ll need to have sold PR skills and expertise, experience hiring and managing staff, and a successful track record of managing accounts and getting new business on the agency side.
